Coming out of the Temple!

After the sealing we all waited patiently for the newlyweds to emerge…

So I snapped a few of the bridesmaids.

and the way cool boutonnieres!
And here they come! For the first time as husband and wife! Typical Jenna, leading him out, so excited to face the crowds 🙂
Another Polish tradition! Jenna’s new father-in-law poured a bag full of coins over their heads!
Picking up said coins!

Confused about how many Polish kisses to the cheek Jenna?
Hugs from the bridesmaids!
Cute new hubby can’t take his eyes off his bride 🙂

One of the many massive group shots!

J&S: First Look and Woodsy Portraits

Before the ceremony they met in the forest for a first look. So. Beautiful.

We were then met by the rest of their families (minus one Polish sister that couldn’t make it).

And then grabbed some quick portraits in this UH-MAZING light.

Stunning. She is stunning.

J&S: Getting Ready

Okay, so this is mostly Jenna getting ready, but still.

Jenna with some of her bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids, and the bridesman. I love that she has a bridesman.

She had 2 dresses for the wedding day! This first one was her mom’s (right?) and she wore it in the temple for the actual ceremony.
And this is the dress that she wore for the rest of the day! It’s so beautiful and so her!

They did a little gift exchange and it was so fun to watch them both open their gifts!

Jenna got some gorgeous pearls, which she immediately put on!

Famous wedding blogger, remember?
So this is where she gets it 🙂
Jen? I assume this isn’t a hail Mary.
This light was killing me during the shoot, but I totally love it now!
This is her ‘something blue.’ Her mom, while buttoning, “What is this ugly blue button??”

Big thanks to my second shooter of the morning!

Hey, It’s Polish Tradition!

Yes, this is still the wedding of J&S. Forgive me for not being able to wait to post this. That handsome groom happens to be Polish (real Polish, like, he grew up there) and there were a few Polish traditions that Jenna blogged about once upon an August.

According to tradition (correct me if I’m wrong), it was the job of the groomsmen to lay on the bed and warm it up for the newlyweds. The bridesmaids were in charge of jumping up and down on the bed to make sure it was sturdy enough. I don’t think this bride expected these traditions to come to fruition. In fact, I believe I can quote her in saying, “the best man isn’t coming anywhere near our hotel room to warm things up for us.” How so very wrong you were my dear. So very wrong.

Hey, at least we didn’t leave any rocks or come back the next day to inspect the sheets :).

First, a [re]introduction

You haven’t forgotten about my Puerto Vallarta couple have you? They got married a couple of weeks ago in Washington and I got to be there to photograph the historic day! This week will be a fun-filled one of many posts dedicated to J&S. Jenna was my very first ever roommate at BYU (and makes the top 3 list of favorites, out of 32!), so she gets special treatment (she’s also a famous wedding blogger).

To start things off I’ve included a photograph of the lovely couple that I love so dearly. Happy marriage :). Hope you enjoy the posts!
