Konrad, Kristy, & Maddox

Kristy was one gorgeous mama-to-be!  I loved her colorful dress and cute belly.

She doesn’t even look the least bit pregnant from behind!  Geez, skinny lady.

About a month after the maternity shoot Maddox made his way into the world!  Understandably, it was pretty exhausting.

But I think he likes it here.

Favorite!  I love the way Konrad is holding him.  It’s perfect.

Newborn photography is my favorite.  Look at that little face!  Newborns make the cutest faces.  I often laugh out loud while I’m editing pictures after a session.

And nothing is sweeter than a sleeping baby.

Preston

Preston’s family has grown from three to four!  I photographer her older brother last year and I can definitely see some similarities.  She was just as sweet as her brother and I had such a great time!

Preston usually woke up at a certain time every day and when she hadn’t woken up by 8:30 (later than usual) her mom woke her up so she would be awake then and be nice and sleepy for the shoot.  It worked marvelously and when I arrived I had a perfectly sleepy baby to play with!

Do you see the dimple in her left cheek??  So cute.

It was so fun to see Jaxson again (though we had to protect Preston from his 1-year-old lovin’)!  I loved photographing the new sibling of a baby I had photographed as a newborn.  I actually have another session like that tomorrow.

Family last year…

Family now!

It was so wonderful to see you all again and watch your family grow!

Who doesn’t love twins?

I suppose I may be a bit biased, but identical girls are pretty much the coolest thing ever and “A” and “E” were pretty rockin’.  Kudos to mom and dad for keeping these girls awake for 2 1/2 hours before the session!  They slept for over four hours,  despite all the naked posing.  Seriously.

Big props to dad for this shot!  We did one of each girl alone before attempting this (in case it didn’t work out) and I think he may have been a bit exhausted and sweaty when we were finally done.

How sweet is this little arm around her sister’s shoulder?  I mean, really.  I hope they continue to look out for each other as they grow!

Geez, mom, where was your camera when Brie (my twin) and I were cute little newborns holding hands?  I may just pretend this is us.  A girl can dream, right?

It was a pleasure!

Mason Family

C was such a beautiful newborn with the biggest blue eyes!

Check him out now!  He’s still got those eyes and I still love that dimple in his chin.

Serious babies are cute babies.

It was great to see his family again and I’m excited for the next session!
