Baby Jacob

I was so excited to see an email from this little one's mama early Saturday morning. He was already ten days old so we scheduled the shoot for the same day! I ran around my apartment throwing all my new (and old) blankets, hats, and other props into a giant suitcase (I had to sit on it to get it zipped when I left the shoot), giddy to photograph another newborn. I have two more this month that I can't wait for!

Little wrinkly baby feet and round toes are always favorites.

Why do boys always get the best eyelashes?!?

LOVE all the shots with the new mom and dad. LOVE them.

Can you even believe this gorgeousness?!

I love these next two of mom for so many reasons.

Biiiiiig stretch!

Such a sweet face.

Jacob surprised his parents when he decided to come two and a half weeks early, but he still weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz! My last 3 newborns have all come early, but he's been the biggest.

Congratulations on your handsome little boy!

Portrait of a child…in 17 seconds

Unamused. Extremely so.

We got her!

I had a few minutes to visit my brothers family back in December, most of which were spent taking pictures of Halle. I wish I remember now what we did to make her smile, but that first picture cracks me up.

Baby Sale!

No, I'm not selling adorable, scrumptious babies. I've had so much fun photographing my 6-9 month old niece and nephew lately that I've decided to have a sale to hopefully encourage some more photo shoots of babies that age .

So if you have (or will have) a baby 6-9 months old and you live in Houston, the session fee is 50% off for the next 7 days! Email me at kelli@kellinicolephotography.com before Wednesday, February 17th 11:59 pm (CST) and send in a deposit and signed contract before the end of the month. Session must be completed by the end of July.

And to put a face to this perfect baby age, a couple more pictures of Max. In the last few days he's mastered the art of crawling (while stealing girls' hearts).

And he started to make this face all the time. A little blue steel anyone?

B Kiddos Sneak Peak

I have barely been able to look at the pics from this shoot so I just grabbed a few that caught my eye. Such happy kids! I love the way little Lily clasped her hands together here! She started cracking up and not even her mom had ever heard her laugh so heartily.
