Everett was the first baby I photographed after getting back from my Southeast Asia trip (about 17 hours after my flight landed!) and he was just perfect.  He was such a sweet boy, as you can see!  He's also the first baby on both sides of his family, so there's a lot of love going around for this guy!

Well, hello there!  It was very nice to meet you, little buddy!

This is one of my favorite families!  I love getting together with these guys and watching C grow!  This was the 5th time I've photographed them and it just gets easier and easier.  C has always been a looker, but he seems to get more and more handsome every time I see him.

I photographed L when she was much younger and now she's walking all over the place and trying to be as independent as she can!  We started off in her room and I love the way light pink walls reflect light into little faces.  Beautiful

We called these her "jazz hands" which is how she held them every time she walked around.  So cute!

I photographed Leighton last year as a newborn and I loved getting to see her as an almost-1-year-old!  Those cheeks!

Ha, I love the hair flying behind her!

There aren't too many pictures of Leighton enjoying her cake, but this is a cute one!  Despite normally being fearless and adventurous, she decided she didn't like too much frosting on her hands so it didn't last long (two of my sister's kids cried at their first birthdays when we tried to make them eat a cupcake; I think some kids just aren't cake/frosting people).  Happy Birthday Leighton!

Max isn't a newborn anymore, but his was one of the many this last summer that never got blogged.  When I realized that I couldn't resist showing off a few of my favorites!  He was such a sweet, adorable newborn, and nothing has changed now that he's all grown up and five months old.

Here he is now!  Isn't he the cutest thing?!  That little bow-tie...and that hat...boy is going to have to fight off the ladies when he's older.

N, if you get ever get tired of his cuteness I'll take him!

You may remember this family from Kelly's maternity session, and Sloan's newborn and 9 month session.  It was such a blast to get together with them all!

Sloan is such a sweetie and sure loves his mama!

I about died when I saw these shoes.  Love them.

These next three are hilarious. This kid changed his expression so quickly over just a few seconds.  The first is my favorite!

Adrian brought his parents over last month so I could get some shots of this beautiful new family.   I LOVE everything about this shot.

He was a rather smiley little guy!  Always love that .

I think this is one of the best open-eyes smiles I've captured on a newborn!  I've only seen a handful during a session, but this guy must be especially happy to be living on the outside .

These twinners were such a dream to photograph!  They were 7 days old and were so good to me.  We got so many great shots of them together and then they were kind enough to trade off when they wanted to eat so I could photograph them separately.  Seriously, I couldn't have asked for an easier twin session.

I love twins!  See Lucy's little dimple?  So sweet.

I love that we got some cute little newborn smiles from both of them.

I hope you two are letting your parents get some sleep every now and then!

This was Baby N's first outing so I hope she made it easy on her mom .  She had the sweetest little smiles and was a pleasure to photograph!

Charlotte's big sister was the first newborn I photographed in Houston!  Cameron was such a doll and it was so much fun to see her in the role of big sister this time.  It is not always easy to get pictures of toddlers with newborns, but we stuck Cameron is this chair and she did marvelously!   How sweet is this sister picture?  I hope they love it some day as much as I do!

Charlotte seems pretty pleased with her new family.

Charlotte and Cameron definitely resemble each other!  It will be interesting to see if they start looking more alike or less as they get older.
