This is one of my favorite families!  I love getting together with these guys and watching C grow!  This was the 5th time I've photographed them and it just gets easier and easier.  C has always been a looker, but he seems to get more and more handsome every time I see him.

Happy Birthday little buddy!

You may remember this family from Kelly's maternity session, and Sloan's newborn and 9 month session.  It was such a blast to get together with them all!

Sloan is such a sweetie and sure loves his mama!

I about died when I saw these shoes.  Love them.

Aidan is such a sweet big brother.  He was very cooperative every time we did a brothers shot!

Looks like this crack me up and then I usually get a more natural "normal" smile after they pull a face like this!

I'm pretty sure this is the kind of play that most dads do with their sons.

These next three are hilarious. This kid changed his expression so quickly over just a few seconds.  The first is my favorite!

You can see K's newborn pictures here from last June.  I can't believe how big she is now!  Her family has this great park right by their house so we started bright and early before the sun even came all the way up.  I love this bridge.

I love her giant eyes and crazy long hair.  What a beauty she's turned into!

This next shot cracks me up because it looks like she's hitchhiking.

I got to meet up with the Ramirez family not too long ago and photograph a couple of darling little boys!  "E" here is 5 months and soooo chubby.   Love it!

Big brother "A" had to warm up to the idea of taking pictures, but he sure didn't complain when we started a round of swinging!  He has the most adorable smile!

See?  Isn't he adorable?  And those curls...oh how I love dark curls.

Some of you may remember baby L back when he was a newborn (remember? cutest yawning picture ever?).  He's a big boy here at 7 months old and still as cute as ever.  Check out that hair!  His mama said he totally got her unruly hair.

They're moving to Colorado, which makes me sad.  I'm sure Colorado is going to increase in coolness exponentially as soon as they arrive.  I'll miss photographing your cute family!

I photographed my oldest sister's family back in October in Minnesota and not even the rest of my family ever saw these pics!  Here ya go, family.

We got this little stool for this shoot and I'm so glad we did!  Max thought he couldn't get off it since his feet didn't touch the ground, so it was the only way to get pictures of him by himself.

At the time, this Buzz Lightyear doll was his favorite thing in the world.

Swords are his other favorite thing (and don't even get him started on basketball).

Ty is getting so big.  I'm going to be in complete denial when he starts dating (which will hopefully be when he's 25 as he's totally oblivious to girls at the moment).  I wish I had pictures of him as a baby online, but that was back when I shot all film!

Dang, the kids in my family have some blue eyes!!

I got to spend Christmas in Minnesota building snow tunnels and it looked a bit different than it did in October .  I officially love Minnesota and can't wait to go back!

I don't often photograph families with only adult children, but this must have been one of the most hilarious family sessions I've ever done!  I was already friends with a couple of them, but most I met for the first time right before the session as they had to fly in from all over the country and even the world!

We got plenty of nice, normal, happy family pictures...

But I found myself laughing out loud as I edited pictures such as this:

Oh, and THIS.  This totally cracks me up.

Dan was unseated as oldest when his brother married Andrea, and I don't think he's taking it very well.

I've never said no to a good old fashioned pyramid.

How can you not love this family?!?

Love this next one too .   Mom's reaction is priceless.

Last shot of the shoot, but definitely not the least awesome.  I see this being printed life-size.  Maybe above my couch.

The A stands for Awesome.  This was one of the easiest families I've ever photographed!  Start off with a few knock-knock jokes and you can't go wrong.

I swear, John must have a calling as a gymnast or a dancer.  Look at that form!

When the younger kids get tossed up at a shoot, inevitably the older ones want to try it out too!  This was one of the best 7-year-old tosses I've seen yet.

I loved everything they were wearing.  Jacob was so handsome!

Can't you believe this cuteness??  Grace was so adorable.

The tie kills me.  I love it!!

This is an example of what a small world we live in.  Terri used to get her hair cut in Utah by the same friend of mine that cuts my hair in California!  Now we both live in Houston.  So crazy!

The R family is new to Houston and Rachel wanted a spot that contrasted the desert (Arizona) they'd moved from.  This was a great little park we shot at!

Isn't Annabel stunning?  I love the way the wind is blowing her hair back.

I have two nephews the same age as Jacob and it's so sad how quickly they're growing up!   Before long they'll all be too big to jump into mom's arms .

Annabel can laugh on demand (this next shot is an example of that).  So crazy cute!

After the kids got their chance on dad's shoulders, Neil thought it was Rachel's turn.  She protested going up a bit .

The E family was another great family I got to shoot while I was in Minnesota!  I just love how all their colors came together and how great they looked with the locations.   Calvin, Maxwell, and Sophie were all so good for me (especially Sophie, the girls always are!).

I find kids this age hilarious.  They have the cutest smiles!

They all have such striking blue eyes!

Stacey, you're gorgeous!  (Also, when I flew out of Minnesota a few days later I realized I was basically wearing your exact outfit, which I had purchased during my trip!).

Oh, how I love that shot!  I'm tempted to make it into a giant canvas for my own place .  Reminds me a little of the Wizard of Oz, anyone else?
