Pretty sure this next shot is my favorite.  I love her purple nails!

The colors on the boardwalk are so fun and bright!  I'd love to do a shoot there when we can actually get on the rides .

This is another favorite!  We were walking to the car and I asked for one last shot.  Luckily, laying in the middle of the road isn't as dangerous so early in the morning.

Baby Jaxson arrived about two full days later and I can't wait to show you some of his pictures.  He's absolutely perfect.

Don't they look like the came out of a magazine?  I really get the best clients.

Josh went to Vanderbilt and is now working in Houston while India is in Atlanta.  Long distance sucks, but it looks like they're handling it well!

India told me they swim, can you tell??  I would kill for those arms.

How cute are they?!  These next few are so sweet.

They wanted to get a shot by the skyline, but when we got to the location it was all blocked off!  After some quick thinking, we settled on doing the last few shots at this spot not too far away.

Lastly...the ring.  Dang.

It took a little while for this little missy to warm up to me (as it always does), but we got the sweetest smiles out of her as long as mom stayed close .  I love those giant blue blue eyes!

The big brother had to wake up from an unplanned nap for the shoot and he wasn't happy about it!  We finally convinced him to come out and play with me and I was so excited to get him on this little tricycle.  I think he was pretty happy about it too!

Koree grabbed awesome close-ups like this next one while I did more full-body shots.  LOVE Scotty's face here, what a sweet smile while he nuzzles Lakesha .

I frequently tell people to be serious for a certain shot.  Often, it's a secret ploy to get them to laugh.  Scotty nailed the serious pose here and totally stayed in character, but this is what happened with Lakesha!  I love how hard she's trying to be serious in the second shot!

See?   We did lots of laughing.  I'm training myself to stay composed during all this laughing or else I get blurry pictures from all the bouncing.

I loved how the purple flowers in the background matched her dress.

They really like the color orange, so this spot was perfect for them!  Just in time too, a few days later I drove past this spot and it had been tagged.

Perfect way to end the shoot.

We started off the shoot at her apartment complex.  They were so nice and let us use one of the model apartments.  It was ridiculously cute and had great light!

We finished off the shoot at Uptown Park.  I've wanted to shoot here ever since I moved here!  It was really fun and I discovered things I hadn't noticed before.

This next shot is a good example of some of the wonders of post-processing that I thought people would like to see.  I took this picture (below) knowing that I wanted to bring in the background more, but in order to expose for A's face, the background has to be over-exposed.  So I exported this image from Lightroom as is,

and then decreased the exposure significantly and exported this one as well.

I put them together and after a little masking and editing, voila.

We happened to be walking by crave cupcake and I suggested that we get a pink cupcake for A's little cupcake that she's growing.  She said her husband would really like these shots and I know I do!

C came along again and helped me shoot and grabbed this lovely shot while I was focused on the cupcake.

I can't wait for baby to get here!  Expect a beautiful new baby girl to grace this blog in June.

Can you see how striking his BLUE eyes are?!  They're incredible.

We did these last since the ground was wet and they walked away with damp pants!  Many of the bluebonnets around Houston have been mowed, but we were able to find this little spot in the middle of a busy road.   I think this last one is my favorite .

They're getting married in Canada this summer; wish I could be there!

E was a little freaked out right here sitting in this basket, but I won her over with a hand-puppet.

Can you see the tear?  E let us know she was done being the model, but I was able to sneak a few more in before we headed home!

There was something new around every corner.

I couldn't stop telling her how amazing this color looked on her, don't you agree?!

It was my first time shooting the Houston skyline.  What a great spot!

We headed downtown to some locations I have used before...yet discovered several new areas too!  My boyfriend came along again to second-shoot and kept an eye out for rockin' areas to shoot.  Several of the shots below are his!

The first half of these pictures were all taken within a few blocks of each other. Good job downtown Houston!

One of my favorite shots of her (below) was taken by my boyfriend!  He claims he had an excellent teacher, but I think it's mainly talent.

I went a little crazy with all the following "24" shots.  Surprisingly, we have the same favorite number! Turns out we have much more in common. Among other things, we both turned 24 this year (less than a month apart and for her it was 24 on the 24th), and we met our significant others in similar ways.  Needless to say, it was fun getting to know each other.
