When I was in California in October (I know, this is a long time coming), I was buying some jewelry from Leisa (check it out here, I LOVE her stuff) and she asked if I did trades. Absolutely I do! I got to get way more jewelry than I was planning on and she got a photo shoot of her adorable family. It happened to be a really rainy week and we had to cancel on the day we planned for, but last minute Leisa was able to pull together everything for the shoot on another day. Her husband was at work and happened to be wearing that shirt (which has orange stripes) so she planned their outfits around it and I can't believe how cute it turned out (well, I can, since she is so darn crafty).

They ordered this one for their home, I know it will look awesome!

I think this one is soooo darling. I LOVE pictures of my older siblings holding me when I was a baby (though unless my name is written on the back it becomes a guessing game of which twin is it).

This little guy was right around 6 months and couldn't be happier!

Chances are, if you ever see me wearing jewelry, it came from her. Thanks again!

Matt & Sarah’s Wedding!

I got to go 'home' (San Francisco bay) for Matt and Sarah's wedding! It was surprisingly cold that weekend, but they were troopers and they look so happy you'd never know it. This post is very bride/groom portrait heavy, but I loved them so much I couldn't cut anymore out. The day started off super early!

Married! Surrounded by so many friends.

They got married at the Oakland LDS Temple. This is one of my favorite temples to shoot because there is always good light, no matter what time of day!

Their backyard reception was gorgeous. The house they had it at was amazing and they had a ring ceremony underneath a willow tree in the back. Loved everything about this place!

Editing these pictures made me soooo hungry.

Sarah used to work for a photographer in Montana and he and his wife came all the way out for the wedding!

Brit+Bran Engaged!

These two, I pretty much love them. I met Brit a year ago when we did a shoot of just her, which was also just a few weeks before she got engaged...in Paris...to an incredible guy. Yep, pretty much my dream. They came up to San Francisco from LA to do an engagement session and I don't think it could have been more fun! We found amazing new spots even in locations I've shot in tons of times and they were totally up for anything. We got so many awesome shots that you'll definitely be seeing more of these two soon .

Be excited. The awesomeness has just begun.

I Love High School Seniors

I would love to shoot high school seniors all day long! They're young, beautiful, and are somehow all master posers. Oh, and they have totally rockin' style.

If you've been following my blog for a while, you may recognize this one. I've had the privilege of photographing her and her family several times in the last few years!

A few of my favorite pictures from one of my amazing repeat families! I so much love to watch the kids grow up . I couldn't believe how long and blonde little Kate's hair had gotten. So amazing that they all have different hair color too!

Scott, Liz, and Will

I knew Liz when we were in high school in the bay area (she was a year ahead of me and at my rival school). I was super delighted to hear last year that she was expecting a baby and it was so great to finally meet her family! Their little boy is SO darling I could barely stand it. Despite the unexpected chilly/misty/windy weather that we often find in San Francisco in the summer he was perfect the whole time.

Aren't they the cutest family?!? Liz and Scott's first date was a double with his parents, lol.

A quick stop at Kara's Cupcakes to warm up also proved to be a great place for pictures!

What do dads do best?? Play! We almost always gets some real fun smiles when dad goofs off.

Allison and Dallin engaged!

I've probably known Dallin since he was like...6. I used to visit California every summer when I was a kid and play with him and his 8 siblings! So fun. I also photographed Allison's senior pics a few years ago, her sister's senior pics, Dallin's sister's senior pics, and Dallin's sister's wedding! I LOVE my repeat clients and friends .

These two have to wait until Dallin graduates from West Point to get married, so come next summer they'll be newlyweds.

Isn't she beautiful?! They were so much fun to photograph.

Around now it started raining...but that didn't stop us!

It was also REALLY foggy.

And SUPER windy!! This one cracks me up.

One funny thing about their relationship is that their dads work together and actually set them up! So at least we know they both approved of the relationship . So fun to see you both again!
