She decided to capture some pictures of herself for Christmas (she's an only child and what parents wouldn't love that?!?).

We headed downtown to some locations I have used before...yet discovered several new areas too!  My boyfriend came along again to second-shoot and kept an eye out for rockin' areas to shoot.  Several of the shots below are his!

The first half of these pictures were all taken within a few blocks of each other. Good job downtown Houston!

One of my favorite shots of her (below) was taken by my boyfriend!  He claims he had an excellent teacher, but I think it's mainly talent.

I went a little crazy with all the following "24" shots.  Surprisingly, we have the same favorite number! Turns out we have much more in common. Among other things, we both turned 24 this year (less than a month apart and for her it was 24 on the 24th), and we met our significant others in similar ways.  Needless to say, it was fun getting to know each other.

I used to visit California every summer and play with her older siblings and I also shot her older sister's wedding a couple of years ago. I didn't know Veronica very well since she was so much younger, but we had too much fun on this shoot! We didn't have much planned besides heading into San Francisco and we discovered soooo many ridiculously cool locations. See for yourself :) .






I had her stop at Kara's cupcakes for her first one ever (I'm slightly obsessed). She loved it. And this is really making me want one right now!!!

It matched Jenna's shirt and her eyes perfectly. Unlike many photographers the two of us thoroughly enjoy having our picture taken, even if it still feels a little awkward :) . So much fun!

Brittney and I met up in San Francisco and just drove around looking for a parking spot in a cool part of the city (by the way, on hills make sure you always park your car with the wheel facing the curb...) and then we jumped out and photographed away. She had a few different fun outfits to change into and despite the cold weather she was a trooper and looked amazing!! She even ran into the middle of the street when I asked :) . I can't wait to share more!

And, before I go, here are some pictures from my most favorite maternity shoot ever with one of my most favorite girls from the photography program at BYU (there are about 4 or 5 favorites, but she definitely ranks up there among them). She lives in Washington now, so it was so much fun to get to do this shoot when I was up there for a wedding!

The last 2 weeks have been Cuh-RAZY! And I love every minute! Last week I wasn't planning on going anywhere for 3 weeks. I ended up flying to Napa for a wedding on Saturday, I'll be driving to Arizona tomorrow (from San Diego), and back up to the east bay on Sunday. A couple more days on the internship and then back to Utah!!!! In the last 6 weeks I've been to Mexico twice, Utah, and the SF bay 3 times. Life is good :)
