Taylor

Taylor’s niece was my first newborn shoot in Houston over a year ago!  Taylor is graduating from High School this year so got together for a senior session.

Senior sessions are definitely a favorite.  I had so much fun talking and shooting!

Taylor told me all about her trip to Europe this summer with a group of graduates and I’m so excited for her!  What a fun way to finish off high school.

This next shot might be my favorite.  Gorgeous, yes???

Hope that case of senioritis doesn’t kill you before the end of the school year!

Elisabeth

Elisabeth is a friend of a friend and she came up with a very thoughtful gift for her parents. She decided to capture some pictures of herself for Christmas (she’s an only child and what parents wouldn’t love that?!?).

We headed downtown to some locations I have used before…yet discovered several new areas too!  My boyfriend came along again to second-shoot and kept an eye out for rockin’ areas to shoot.  Several of the shots below are his!

The first half of these pictures were all taken within a few blocks of each other. Good job downtown Houston!

One of my favorite shots of her (below) was taken by my boyfriend!  He claims he had an excellent teacher, but I think it’s mainly talent.

I went a little crazy with all the following “24” shots.  Surprisingly, we have the same favorite number! Turns out we have much more in common. Among other things, we both turned 24 this year (less than a month apart and for her it was 24 on the 24th), and we met our significant others in similar ways.  Needless to say, it was fun getting to know each other.

My BF’s view:

* Any of the shots that look like I’m 6′ 8″ were taken with me on top of my BF’s shoulders.

Veronica-Senior #3

I’ve probably known Veronica since she was born…yep, pretty sure. I used to visit California every summer and play with her older siblings and I also shot her older sister’s wedding a couple of years ago. I didn’t know Veronica very well since she was so much younger, but we had too much fun on this shoot! We didn’t have much planned besides heading into San Francisco and we discovered soooo many ridiculously cool locations. See for yourself :).

I had her stop at Kara’s cupcakes for her first one ever (I’m slightly obsessed). She loved it. And this is really making me want one right now!!!

Susannah-Senior #2

Susannah and Michelle are best friends (they’re the 2 featured in this shot) and after Michelle left we focused solely on Susannah! She was totally awesome and wants to be a photographer! I graduated from BYU (where Michelle is going) and Susannah is headed to BYU-I (where my twin sister actually went). Good luck to both of you!

Michelle

Michelle was my first of 3 seniors a few weeks ago and I had such a great time with them!! Anyone else who wants to do a senior shoot…ever…let me know. I’m up for it :).
