It’s come to my attention that some emails from clients didn’t come through yesterday, even though they were in the same thread as others that DID come through. I don’t know if this is an ongoing problem, but I’ll be investigating and if I haven’t responded to an email from you please send another one and CC to email@example.com.
I’ve been photographing L and her kids for several years now and as much as I was looking forward to her wedding I really had no idea how wonderful it would be! The night before the big day I got to photograph the rehearsal dinner on this boat in Lake Tahoe. It was gorgeous! I admit I was a bit paranoid about my gear, but everything made it back on land safely.
It was such a fun and joyous party! I guessed it would be a good indicator of the wedding day and I was right!
After we docked I got to sit on the beach and watch the sunset. What a day :).
The next day had a lot in store for us! Everything came together so well. Every detail was stunning. Thanks so much to my second shooter, Eva, for helping me out all day! She was amazing.
The guys were not too shabby!
But I think the ladies take the cake in the looks department.
The wedding was held in a beautiful chapel with huge windows, every photographers dream :).
What a beautiful family!!
Everyone should have friends that are this musically talented.
One of my favorite shots. Love this little guy!
The food was amazing!
Dancing on the beach at sunset :). What could be better? We may have crashed a proposal to get these shots…
This was one of the happiest weddings I’ve ever been to and I’m so glad I was able to be there! I love you guys!
Hello, friends! In the near future I’ll be going on some photography-specific trips and it’s about time I let you all know about them!
July 19th-22nd I’m headed to Utah (SLC/Provo) and would love to do a few more sessions.
August 23rd-27th I’ll be in the San Francisco bay area as well as Sacramento and Tahoe. My time will be extremely limited, but I’d love to do some more sessions if possible!
I have a tentative trip to New Jersey sometime between October-December as I have some wonderful clients that are moving there. This trip is not set, but please let me know if you’d be interested in doing a session.
If anyone is interested in doing a session (or just hanging out!) please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to hear from you!
And because a blog post of mine isn’t complete without something beautiful, I give you a favorite from a recent session.
Congratulations Jeff & Katie on your big day today!!!
We (Koree and I) shot Katie’s bridals back in June and I was so excited to be able to post them! Maybe my favorite bridals EVER. I love her birdcage veil.
It was such a fun shoot!
See how happy she is?!? This was at the end of the shoot when we were fighting off mosquitoes! She’s a trooper!
This was such a fun wedding for me. I had THREE of my brides there! The first time I met Emily and Andrew was at Emily’s best friend’s wedding last year in Washington. Emily and Andrew BOTH caught the bouquet/garter and I think you can see from this image below that she was pretty excited about it :).
They got engaged not too long after that and I was so excited when she contacted me to shoot her wedding! It turned out so unbelievably beautiful. The details are all amazing! I had a really hard time narrowing down all the detail shots for the blog :).
LOVE these shoes. Love them.
The flowers, oh the FLOWERS. I could do an entire post on just the flowers, but these will have to suffice.
Emily was so excited to email me a few weeks before the wedding to tell me she convinced Andrew to do a first look (which is when the bride and groom see each other prior to the ceremony and I photograph the meeting with just the 3 of us and then we take some portraits). I am SOOOOO glad we did it, as it started raining during the (indoor) ceremony and we wouldn’t have gotten any outdoor shots otherwise! We also did most of the bridal party portraits before the ceremony. So what do you think, worth it??
In case you didn’t notice, Andrew is TALL. Even with those awesome purple heels on :).
Bride and Groom #1
Bride and Groom #2 (and Emily’s sister)
And all three couples with me!
Emily also has a rockin’ blog that you should check out! She keeps posting so many cool diy projects and fun wedding ideas. Congratulations and Merry Christmas Eve!
