Zoo in my belly!

I don’t normally do a post like this, but I photograph a lot of families and I want you all to know about this adorable children’s book! In February I did an engagement session in London (which I failed to blog…oops). The female half of the pair is working on a PhD in design and I had no idea she was THIS talented. I just saw the website and am madly in-love with her pictures. I love good art (and I’m picky) and I love a good children’s book. This covers both! The book isn’t complete yet, but the first 500 people to sign up on the email list will get a discount when it comes out. Hopefully she’ll be selling the pictures as posters on fabric too, which would look so cute in a child’s room! Now I just need to get a child…

Check it out here!

And for good measure, here’s a picture from the e-session.

Nicole + Quincy

Almost married! I flew up to Portland a few days before this couple’s wedding in Washington so we could do a little ‘engagement’ shoot. I guess it’s not really an e-session, but we all thought it’d be fun to just get some shots of them in their normal clothes. It was so much fun! This was my first trip to Portland and everywhere I looked there was something I wanted to shoot. I think I loved this caboose as much as they did :). Wedding pictures to come soon!

J&S the real deal-Puerto Vallarta

Yes, I know this is probably the largest post to date. This was also the longest engagement shoot to date and I also traveled the farthest (well, besides London, but I was already there). Are they hott or what?! Dang, just wait for the wedding!!

We played the “what would you do if” game. Example: “What would you do if the wind suddenly blew J’s skirt up?”

I love you two!
