Wrapped newborn mini sessions are such a great way to get some sweet family and/or baby photos without the expense or time commitment of a full session! Mini newborn sessions are one hour and always in studio. You can see the pricing options for mini sessions here.

During a mini session baby is never naked or clothed in an outfit (these can be difficult and may take so much time that we only get one or two poses so I reserve those for full sessions). I generally swaddle baby in a neutral color or a swaddle that matches their skin tone and then it’s easy to switch out a second swaddle on top so we can move quickly through the setups and get the most variety possible.

Mini sessions generally include 3-6 setups, depending on how well the baby does! We did family, mom/baby, dad/baby, plus one prop and 2 blanket backdrops. Getting different angles (above) can give you a different look and changing out the swaddle (like below) is easy to do to get a little more variety. 

This little guy was so sleepy and easy that we got to do a couple of shots with his arms out as well :). Sometimes this doesn’t go well, but he did great!!
