G Family

While I was traveling I had so many awesome photo shoots so I’m going to post just a few pictures from each for the next few weeks!

My first shoot was with this cute little family!  My old roommate is this mama’s sister and I couldn’t believe how adorable these kids were.

I love her serious look.

For some reason I just love this one!

Photographing a 2 1/2-year-old

Want to know how I got pictures of a 2 1/2-year-old like this one?

And these?

(the lollipop didn’t hurt)

A nice little game of hide and seek!  I think this is fairly universal for 2 1/2-3 year olds, yes?  I was just babysitting a friend’s boy recently and he sat in a box in the middle of the living room in plain view while I wandered around the house saying, “Where’s Max? Is he in the oven? Nooooo. Is he behind the couch? Noooo.” and he giggled hysterically the entire time.  We did this for at least 30 minutes.

In this video we stuck my niece, Ella, in a cute little outfit, gave her a lollipop, and took her to the backyard when the light was nice!  Thanks for being such a good little model, Ella :).

San Francisco bay area sessions!

I’ve had a lot of interest lately in sessions in the San Francisco bay area, so I’ve decided to plan a trip in August under some conditions.

1. I get at least 5 clients.

2. Each client pays a deposit ($50, required for all portrait sessions) and a travel fee of $50 up front (to see regular pricing, click here).

The dates for my trip will be August 13-20.  Contact me as soon as possible if you’re interested in a session as space is limited and if I don’t book enough spots I’ll be canceling the trip.

Because no blog post is complete without a picture, here are some shots of my 2 1/2-year-old niece taking a little nap 🙂 (from my recent trip to NC).

Happy Tuesday!

PS: If you live somewhere other than California you can always check my travel dates posted on the right side of my blog to see if I’ll be in your area! –>

A few of the Packer kids

It was really fun to meet this cute little family, and really great that they were just down the road from me!  It was a last-minute session right before I went out of town and I’m so glad I squeezed them in!

It took a little while for this little missy to warm up to me (as it always does), but we got the sweetest smiles out of her as long as mom stayed close :).  I love those giant blue blue eyes!

The big brother had to wake up from an unplanned nap for the shoot and he wasn’t happy about it!  We finally convinced him to come out and play with me and I was so excited to get him on this little tricycle.  I think he was pretty happy about it too!

E in Pettiskirts

I rarely get to photograph babies around this age (I’d love to have more though ;)) and E was so much fun.  I was so excited to have a little model for the new pettiskirts that I bought!  We picked out both shirts right before the shoot and they just match so perfectly.  E just turned one a couple of months ago, so happy belated birthday!

E was a little freaked out right here sitting in this basket, but I won her over with a hand-puppet.

Can you see the tear?  E let us know she was done being the model, but I was able to sneak a few more in before we headed home!
