Emily+Andrew Married!

This was such a fun wedding for me.  I had THREE of my brides there!  The first time I met Emily and Andrew was at Emily’s best friend’s wedding last year in Washington.  Emily and Andrew BOTH caught the bouquet/garter and I think you can see from this image below that she was pretty excited about it :).

They got engaged not too long after that and I was so excited when she contacted me to shoot her wedding!  It turned out so unbelievably beautiful.  The details are all amazing!  I had a really hard time narrowing down all the detail shots for the blog :).

LOVE these shoes.  Love them.

The flowers, oh the FLOWERS.  I could do an entire post on just the flowers, but these will have to suffice.

Emily was so excited to email me a few weeks before the wedding to tell me she convinced Andrew to do a first look (which is when the bride and groom see each other prior to the ceremony and I photograph the meeting with just the 3 of us and then we take some portraits).  I am SOOOOO glad we did it, as it started raining during the (indoor) ceremony and we wouldn’t have gotten any outdoor shots otherwise!  We also did most of the bridal party portraits before the ceremony.  So what do you think, worth it??

In case you didn’t notice, Andrew is TALL.  Even with those awesome purple heels on :).

Married!

Bride and Groom #1

Bride and Groom #2 (and Emily’s sister)

And all three couples with me!

Emily also has a rockin’ blog that you should check out!  She keeps posting so many cool diy projects and fun wedding ideas.  Congratulations and Merry Christmas Eve!

Shay and Jenna

Usually a wedding sneak peak includes a bride AND a groom, but I made a little promise to one of my closest friends…who happens to be this bride’s big sister. Jenna’s wedding was last October in Seattle and it was such an honor to be able to head back to Washington to shoot Shay’s wedding. For now, here are a couple of pictures of the lovely sisters, with promises of the bride and groom coming soon!

Megan and Cliff

I knew Megan back when we were both freshman at BYU! She lived next door to me and I recall being amazed that she wore a 3 or 4 shoe size (correct me if I’m wrong, Megan!). We didn’t really see each other or speak again until recently when she asked me to shoot her bridals and we figured out that I was available for her wedding too! We did this shoot at her parent’s house. It was stunning. I am so lucky.

Megan and Cliff met in class (they’re both going to Law School!). They are going to have some SMART (and beautiful) kids.

Her adorable little sisters wore their flower girl dresses so we got some shots of them too! Can you believe they all lucked out with that amazing hair and those blue eyes?!

Due to some construction I was able to climb into a dried-up pond to take this picture. I believe this is also where Cliff proposed. So sweet.

This shoot went soooo amazingly and I can’t wait for the wedding!!
